Superintendent – Sham Shui Po Nursing Home cum Day Care Service

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure services and operations comply with funding agreements and internal policy
• Formulate and monitor the budget of the HOME
• Manage the operation of the HOME, including setting up contingency plans for emergencies, service quality, financial management, asset management, office admin, division of work, human resources management, and office setting
• Enhance the quality of life for the home residents by providing compassionate care and efficient management
• Lead and motivate staff to provide service to achieve the agency’s VMV
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the quality of services
• Participate in projects/tasks assigned by the Agency

Requirements:

• Registered Social Worker (Cap. 505) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or above
• 5 years or above of ASWO experience with solid supervisory and hostel experience are preferred
• Candidates have to complete the SWD-designated courses and obtain a registered home manager or a registered home manager (provisional) before joining the Agency
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Strong sense of good leadership and management skills, good interpersonal skills, and flexibility
• Proactive, positive, independent, logical, and able to work under pressure
• Priority given to experience in contract home and operating self-financing units
