We are looking for a dedicated Training Officer committing to assist the Project to run English-speaking post-school programmes (YES & CONNECT Programme) for young adults with special education needs and diverse cultural backgrounds.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide training to a group of English-speaking young adults with moderate learning difficulties and complex needs for independent living
  • Duties include planning, implementing and monitoring daily schedule, group activities and other duties assigned by the Project Manager
  • Daily communication with parents
  • Coordinate with external partners to arrange work placements, and support the young adults in developing practical work skills and workplace readiness

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree holder, with at least 2 years of work experience, in the Special Educational Needs (SEN) field preferably
  • Passion in working with English-speaking young adults with SEN
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good problem solving and communication skills
  • A great team player in a multi-cultural, dynamic work environment, with a strong sense of responsibility, and a positive attitude to face challenges
