Share More．Make a Bigger Change

Since 1967, Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service has been dedicated to providing innovative and diverse social services to our community.

As many of our meaningful projects are entirely self-funded, the support and generosity of the community is very important to us!

We are excited to share that the YMMSS Flag Day will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Our goal is to raise HK$1.2 million, and we are hoping to bring together of 3,000 volunteers to make it happen.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward supporting:

🌟 Service for non-Chinese ethnics in Yau Tsim Mong District

🌟 Self-finance residential care homes (persons with disabilities)

 (Tuen Mun Long Yat House & Independent Living Programme)

The theme for this year’s Flag Day is “ Share More．Make a Bigger Change”. It reminds us that when each of us shares just a little bit more love and care 💖, it can ripple out to create a life-changing impact. Let’s join hands and bring “a bit more” positive change to our society!

Volunteer Registration & Donation

Support Us:

(1) Become an On-Street Volunteer

  • Event Date: October 17, 2026 (Saturday)
  • Time: 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM (Noon)
  • Location: All districts across Hong Kong
  • Registration Deadline: October 4, 2026 (Sunday) or until full

Remarks:

  1. Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18 or above, and they must share the same flag bag.
  2. A notification will be sent to registered flag-selling volunteers in late September, followed by a notification regarding the collection of flag-selling materials in early October.
  3. Upon completing the flag selling, each volunteer will receive a Certificate of Appreciation and two Hong Kong Observation Wheel tickets.

(2) Become an Online Volunteer

Register as an online volunteer from now until [Month] [Day], 2026, to rally your family and friends to “buy flags online” and spread kindness anytime, anywhere.

  • Successfully raise HK$200 or more: Receive an Electronic Certificate of Appreciation
  • Top 3 Highest Fundraisers: Receive a souvenir
