Service Objectives
Our Day Care Centre provides a range of center-based day care and support services to help seniors, who are assessed with moderate or severe levels of impairment or who are living with dementia, to maintain their optimum level of functioning, develop their potential and improve their quality of life.

- Escort service to and from our Centre
- Full-time Service Plan: for elders using our service for four or more days per week (suitable for those with severe impairment and who have no family members to take care of them during the daytime.)
- Part-time Service Plan: for elders using our service for less than four days per week (suitable for higher functioning elders who have family members providing daytime care at home)
- Respite Service Plan: for elders who require short-term or emergency daycare service. (Service users for the respite service do not need to go through the Standardized Care Need Assessment procedure.)
Service Target
- Full-time service users: Elderly persons aged 60 or above, who are living in the Wong Tai Sin district, and who have been assessed by the Standardised Care Need Assessment Mechanism for Elderly Services as moderate or severely impaired and are eligible for day care services.
- Temporary service users: Elderly persons aged 60 or over who are living in the Wong Tai Sin district, who are frail and who lack day care.

Service Boundaries
Service Type
- Full-time service: 4 days a week or more (Suitable for elderly people who have no family members to take care of them during the day and have low self-care ability)
- Part-time service: less than 4 days a week (For elderly with higher self-care ability and family members who can provide partial care during the day)
- Respite Service: Short-term or emergency day care services for frail elderly (respite service users are not subject to the Standardized Care Need Assessment Mechanism for Elderly Services)
Application of Services
Applicants for the Full-time and Part-Time Service Plans can approach any social service agency to initiate an application and referral.
Service users for the respite care service can apply directly to our Centre.
Fee
Service fees are charged according to the fee standards laid down by the Social Welfare Department.

Every Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6:30pm
Closed on every Sunday and Public Holiday
