Analyst Programmer – IT Department
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in development, design, implement and maintain existing and new IT applications, including client/server, web, workflow and mobile applications etc.;
- Collaborate closely with the project team and end users to guarantee that the features and functionalities of the system satisfy the needs and desires of stakeholders;
- Participate in preparing system specifications, requirement specifications, technical documents. etc.;
- Undertake the required tasks under the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
- Provide programming support, such as system testing, UAT test, performance tuning, troubleshooting, bug fixing and program enhancement;
- Provide technical support, conduct training to users;
- Perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior;
- Participate in projects/tasks as assigned in Agency and Division levels.
Requirements:
- Degree or above in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computing Studies or related discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience;
- Experience in application development by using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Python, PHP, REST API, PowerShell, Power Automate etc;
- Web UI experience using HTML 5, JavaScript, CSS;
- Experience on web services, including REST / JSON;
- Good knowledge and hands on experience with databases including MSSQL, MYSQL and NoSQL;
- Experience in workflow automation (such as K2 and Power automate) and application development;
- Experience developing or administering Microsoft SharePoint environment;
- Knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data;
- Priority given to have a good conception of Linux/Microsoft/Cloud (including Azure and AWS);
- Able to handle multiple tasks independently and willing to learn new knowledge;
- Good communication skill;
- Creative and methodical problem solving skills;
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
