Compensation & Benefits Manager (C&B Manager) – Human Resources and Administration Department
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all compensation and benefits functions, including payroll calculation, benefits administration, annual budgeting, and HRIS management, etc. Lead and develop a small team within HR operations to enhance team performance and ensure efficient operations.
- Plan and facilitate the annual salary structure and compensation review through salary benchmarking and market analyses. Analyze trends in benefit utilization and ensure that compensation strategies remain competitive and aligned with industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance. Stay updated on legislative changes and develop necessary adjustments to policies and practices that safeguard the organization’s interests and migrate risks.
- Drive HR Information System (HRIS) enhancement projects and continuous process improvements to optimize efficiency. Collaborate with HR partners and stakeholders to identify system needs and implement solutions that support HR objectives.
- Manage relationships with benefits and HRIS vendors, ensuring effective contracting, service reviews, and invoicing. Evaluate vendor performance to ensure that services meet organizational needs and standards.
- Monitor and streamline HR operations processes to enhance efficiency and achieve cost savings. Identify bottlenecks and implement the best practices to improve workflow and service delivery.
- Coordinate internal and external audit reviews and related projects. Prepare necessary documentation and reports to facilitate a smooth audit process and address any findings promptly.
- Lead and participate in ad-hoc rewards projects aligned with organizational objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and alignment with business goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Management, Human Resources Management, or related disciplines
- 8 years of relevant working experience in C&B and at least 3 years in a managerial position; preferably in the NGO sector
- Well-versed in the HK Employment Ordinance and other HR related regulations
- Strong numerical sense and analytical mind
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Proficiency in MS Office and Chinese word processing
- Solid experience in using the FlexSystem will be an advantange
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant C&B Manager
