School Social Work Service

Service Objectives

By adopting a multifarious intervention and service approach, the School Social Work Service aims to provide opportunities and extracurricular support to students in acquiring self-awareness, developing potential, and honing interpersonal skills, thereby enabling them to grow up as happy, confident, and mature persons, and will be an asset to society.

  1. Assist students to develop good interpersonal relationships
  2. Cater to students’ physical and mental health as well as their growth and development
  3. Facilitate students to develop positive attitudes toward daily living
  4. Help students broaden their life experiences
  5. Involve schools, families and the community to work together to build a positive developmental environment for young people

Service Contents

  1. Inquiry

  3. Individual and family counseling
  4. Group counseling
  5. Large-scale educational activities
  6. Teachers’ Professional Development

Service Target

All students from the schools in which our Agency has assigned a stationing school social worker; the families of these students; as well as the schools’ staff members.

Application of Services

Any student studying in the secondary schools to which our Agency has sent school social workers for stationing purpose can receive social work service from our school social worker.

Withdrawal of Services

If the student is no longer enrolled at the school, then the student and his/her family members will have to withdraw on voluntary basis from the service.

Fees

All services are provided on a fee-charging basis. The fee schedule is based on the applicant’s financial situation.
