Service Objectives

Our Centre was established in 1998 to provide multifarious youth services primarily in and around the Homantin and Oi Man Estates. Currently, we have over ten professional social workers deployed in outreaching social work, school social work, as well as family and child development services, and adopting casework, group work and community work methods as appropriate.

Our Centre is an integrated service centre staffed primarily by professional social workers. We incorporate different service skills and intervention approaches at various levels to provide opportunities and support to enable young people to acquire experiential learning and to develop into happy, confident and mature young people who will be an asset to society.

Service Contents

We aim at:

1. promoting self development by better self understanding and emotional control, self actualization as well as equipping problem-solving skills;
2. promoting positive value and establishing harmonious relationship with peers and families;
3. roviding support to the deprived children and youth in our community;
4. consolidating family function and support system so as to create a better developmental environment;
5. enhancing social concern and participation among our young generation;
6. keeping close contact with the parties involved in order to provide the young generation with a caring environment.

Service Target

Our Centre serves young persons aged 6-35, as well as their parents.

Fee

Individual annual membership fee is $20 (CSSA recipients will receive a 50% discount on membership fee), family annual membership fee is $35.
